Skin Tag Removal

Removal of skin tags using a fast and effective procedure called shortwave diathermy. Skin tag removal treatment in ultra sensitive areas is a skill requiring much dexterity as well as a high level of experience and expertise in electrolysis.

Skin tags are a common skin condition resembling a small droplet of tissue. They can present as either single or multiple and appear flesh coloured or hyper-pigmented, making them more obvious and although they are harmless they can be irritating and cosmetically unattractive.

Works by employing a fine needle which transmits an electric current and passes through the skin tag to remove it, very quick by cauterising them, which then heals very quickly leaving little or no mark on the skin.

Shortwave diathermy feels like a hot pinch at the skin level but is over pretty quickly depending on the size of the skin tags steam.

Initially the skin can be red as a surface layer may have been removed or cauterised this will form a scab or crust and this will shed naturally.

When this has healed the skin can be slightly pink and will take a little time to rejuvenate and repair. It may appear lighter until it’s had light exposure and eventually will fade into your normal skin colour.
