Laser Carbon Facial

The facial is said to be particularly beneficial for people with oily skin, as it is reduces acne-causing bacteria and shrinks sebaceous, or oil, glands.

It is suitable for all skin types, with the exception of severely dry or cracked sensitive skin.

It involves applying a layer of liquid carbon over the face, which penetrates deep into the pores.

A laser blasts the carbon away, with the light highly attracted to carbon particles.

The carbon absorbs contaminants, and when the laser destroys the carbon it gets rid of these too and takes dead skin cells, blackheads and oil also.

The laser treatment is suitable for all ages and can lighten age spots and dark spots, fade freckles, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, shrink pores, and remove blackheads and acne.

It can also lift and tighten the skin, improve elasticity, moisturise and give a bright and radiant complexion.

As the laser penetrates the deep layers of the skin, it will work to stimulate collagen production, meaning firmer, more youthful looking skin. Clears pores to help reduce blackheads and whiteheads.

The Carbon Laser Facial is gentle & virtually painless.

You may only experience slight tingling & warmth on your skin during the procedure.

So there is no downtime with this treatment however we always advise to air on the side of caution and;

• Avoid direct sun exposure for a couple of days after the treatment
• Avoid using cosmetics with harsh chemicals
• Avoid retinoid or glycolic acid for at least 48 hours after treatment
• Do not forget to wear sunscreen!
• Try to use clean face towels, bed sheets as well as pillow cases
• Avoid touching your face
